Preheat oven to 400 F. Grease a 9 x 13 casserole dish.
Place broccoli florets in casserole dish, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Transfer to oven and bake 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, add the broth, cream, cream cheese, garlic, nutmeg and half the cheddar to a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, whisking to make a smooth sauce.
Add the ham to the roasted broccoli and top with cheese sauce. Sprinkle with remaining cheddar.
Return to oven and bake an additional 15 minutes.
