Preheat safe nonstick waffle iron.
In a small bowl, add the egg, coconut flour, baking powder and shredded cheese. Use a fork to thoroughly combine.
Grease the preheated waffle iron.
Pour half of the batter onto the preheated waffle iron, close the lid and cook 2 minutes.
Remove waffle and repeat with remaining batter.
Serve warm with grass-fed butter and keto-friendly syrup.
